OLE MI COÑO is the thriller documentary on how the director Pati embarks into a digital blackmail situation after her computer is stolen.
It's on May 2019 when Pati's laptop is stolen in a crowded restaurant in Madrid. After diligently filing a report to the police, Pati's life continues as usual until the 1st of August, when she gets a voice message from a friend. He notifies that he got a weird email with very personal pictures of her. It's when Pati realizes she is being a victim of what is called sextortion.
The Hacker, the villain of the film, gains access to all the stored data in the computer and finds three very private pictures of Pati. He threatens that if he doesn’t receive $2.400 he will do a Mass-Mailing to all her work contacts with the pictures.
Shame, anger and distress caused by months of brutal extortion transforms into the need of sharing the process. In front of the inefficiency of the legal forces, Pati feels scared and vulnerable. When it seems there is no hope into the case, Pati receives a first clue from the Madrid's court. This is how Pati empowers herself to start her own investigation in order to find the Hacker and regain control and power over her privacy.
