Cecilia and Juliana are two 18 year old twin sisters, raised in Barcelona, who travel to their birthplace in Colombia. Their mother has been sick for a while and suggests that they spend their vacations in their father's land while she recovers.
Cecilia sees the trip as an opportunity to reunite with her family and to learn more about her father. Juliana needs to find a place to be herself and escape from her mother's disease.
Each one begins her internal-search while they spend hours together in La Unión, the family farm where her grandmother lives. Every night they write a letter to their sick mother telling her about the trip. Between days, a letter arrives from Barcelona that they shouldn't had read. Cecilia runs wild to the forest. Juliana goes looking for her. Night falls in the forest of La Unión.
